i think my favorite of the three is the jerry garcia line. if i could be in the white house today, i can imagine this idea going through bush's mind when considering the wall street issue (i wont use the "c" word because i think it plays into the false belief that wall st has somehow gotten itself into something it cannot get out of. bullshit. they need to suck it up.)

I think of you and check in on your posted life from time to time. Hope you are happy to be back home. Even if the journey seems somewhat circular, every step along the way is worth it. "Stuff" is sometimes not as easy to part with as we may think. As for people, we are all broken in some way, and we will always carry pieces of those we care about along the way. Even if they have been long forgotten.
It is difficult to be the left behind in the moment, but in later reflection they are the ones free of regret. The leaver is the one left with questions. Neither position is easy. I wish you all the best in your new adventure and I am glad to see that you have and continue to live up to your promise to yourself-To Wander.
